ABOUT

Founded in 2016 and inspired by the art of live storytelling, Boy and Monster is a theatre arts collaboration between creative director and playwright, Christian St. Croix and a diverse collective of performance artists.

Our aim is to enhance the landscape of the American theatre by introducing works that center LGBTQ+ people of color as leading characters in the types of stories where they aren't always represented.

From script to stage, our productions are linked by a unique minimalist aesthetic to spotlight performances and encourage imagination.
